Searchness CCPA compliance

The California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) has been in effect since January 1, 2020. It aims to provide better protection for the personal data of residents of California. It applies to companies meeting one or more of the following criteria:

  • Annual gross revenue over $25 million;
  • Annually buys, receives, sells or shares the personal information of 50,000 or more consumers, households or devices for commercial purposes;
  • Derives 50% or more of its annual revenue from selling consumer personal information.

Even if Searchness is not targeted by any of these criteria, we have done the work necessary to ensure that the personal data of our visitors, our customers and their participants are properly protected in accordance with the CCPA standards.
